Tom is amazing, we scheduled our cleaning for Friday and by Saturday the carpets looked better than when we bought the house. Good not have been a nicer guy. Will use again and recommend to friends and family

Can't rate the actual service but did get the runaround. The owner seemed like a good guy over the phone and was willing to accommodate my needs. However, day of.. got cancelled and then refused service claiming that they do not operate in my area anymore. Hard to believe since the website today still lists my suburb within the service area, and I'm in the next town over. This was a groupon purchase and based on past yelp reviews... These guys don't treat groupon customers very well and I should have looked first before buying. If you don't like dealing with this sort of stuff, look elsewhere.

I hired this clown last year and was hanging on to the receipt so I wouldn't forget to give him the review that he deserves. I had him out to clean my carpet and it was a Sat (or Friday) I waited until Monday to tell him that he did not get the job done very well and I needed a retouch and he said I waited too long. Update: More harassment from the owner's associates coming into my Yelp message inbox!! Trying to figure out how to paste the message.

STAY AWAY!! Unacceptable customer service. I purchased the Groupon and called to schedule a carpet cleaning. The phone was answered by some guy just saying "Hello". I asked, "Pro Steam Carpet Cleaning?" and heard the guy echo my response and laugh and then say yes. Red flag number one-you can't answer your phone without mocking a potential customer? Cool. I proceed to state my purpose for calling, he asks me what suburb, I say St. Charles, he tells me the Groupon is not valid for St. Charles. I explain that St. Charles is in the 15 mile radius of 60133 zip code (9 miles to be exact) which is a stipulation of the Groupon. He repeats that St. Charles is not in the Groupon Service area. Then he asks if the property is vacant, I say yes, I have not moved in yet. He says the Groupon is not valid for vacant houses. I ask why again, and he again repeats his answer with no explanation. What?? If you own a carpet cleaning business, wouldn't you prefer an unfurnished space? Wouldn't that make your job easier? And most importantly, I'm thinking many people that move want a carpet cleaning, so you are losing a huge portion of potential business. At this point I was so annoyed with this guy, I just hung up. He has the audacity to call me back and asks why I hung up. I explain that he was being rude starting with how he answered the phones and mocked me. His response, "Oh so now you're going to tell me how to answer my phones?" Nope, just trying to tell you, you sound rude. He also tells me he did not use any profanity, so he is not rude. Apparently, only when you start using profanity are you considered to be rude. The guy then tells me his business's calls are recorded, clearly trying to intimidate and threaten me. Seriously?? He proceeds to tell me he is going to complain to Groupon because he is unhappy with this experience [with me], Threatening me AGAIN and trying to get a rise out of me. I'm thinking he should probably just take his business off of Groupon with his ridiculous stipulations that are not stated in the fine print and his complete lack of respect. Even without the Groupon, this sounds like the kind of business that will nickel and dime you with every possible up-charge they can think of. Here is the fine print on the Groupon as of 6/8/16: "Promotional value expires 180 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires. Valid only within 15 miles of zip code 60133. Valid only for up to 250 square feet per room. Appointment required. Merchant's standard cancellation policy applies (any fees not to exceed Groupon price). Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as a gift. Limit 1 per household. Must use promotional value in 1 visit. Valid only for option purchased. All goods or services must be used by the same person. Combination rooms, are valid as two rooms. Additional fee applies for white carpet. Merchant is solely responsible to purchasers for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services."
